Who is responsible

Analaug is a technology website publishing articles, guides and small online utilities.

The responsible operator’s public identity and country are awaiting confirmation. This notice requires those details and the applicable legal basis to be confirmed before public launch.

For a privacy request or correction, email hello@analaug.com. Include enough information to explain the request; do not send identity documents or passwords with your first message.

What happens when you visit

Vercel hosts the application and delivers its pages and assets. The domain uses Cloudflare for authoritative DNS. Technical request records can include an IP address, request time, URL, browser or device information and delivery or error information. They support delivery, security, troubleshooting and reliable operation. The application does not deliberately log tool inputs or conversation bodies.

There are no visitor accounts, payments, newsletter subscriptions or database-backed visitor profiles. Optional behavioral analytics, advertising, session replay and social-feed embeds are inactive. Supabase, PostHog and Sentry integration code is present but is not configured to collect visitor data in the reviewed release.

Tools on your device

JSON Formatter, Loyalty Calculator and Maintenance Triage process their inputs in your browser. Their normal use does not send those inputs to an Analaug API. Copy and download actions use your browser only when you choose them. Inputs remain in page memory; a file you download or content you copy is then managed by your device and other applications.

Ask Analaug and the robot

Sending a question makes a request to Analaug’s server. The widget sends the latest question, a bounded turn count and, when relevant, a short conversation-intent label. The server uses deterministic rules and published content to answer. No external AI provider is enabled, and no microphone, voice recording or model memory is used.

The visible transcript stays in page memory and is not deliberately saved by the application. Reloading or leaving the page can remove it. Hosting infrastructure still handles technical request records. Please do not submit personal, confidential or credential information.

The robot renders on your device and receives interface states rather than question or transcript text. A static character is used while loading, for reduced motion or when graphics support or performance is insufficient.

Email you choose to send

Email links open your own email application. If you send a message, its address, content and attachments are handled by your email provider and Analaug’s mailbox provider, Zoho Mail, so the inquiry can be received and answered. There is no website contact form or mailing-list signup. Mailbox region, contractual safeguards and a final retention schedule still require operator confirmation.

Storage, cookies and choices

The PWA can save selected public pages and assets for offline use. A tab-session timestamp limits how often robot suggestions appear. These are different from cookies. See the Cookie & Storage Policy for the inventory, persistence and browser-managed storage.

Use Privacy & Storage Settings to clear Analaug offline caches or reset the suggestion cooldown. This does not erase hosting records, email, browser cookies or CDN caches. The site does not currently request optional tracking consent because those technologies are inactive.

Purposes and legal bases

The purposes are delivering and securing the website, answering requested site-guide questions and correspondence, and providing offline access and interface preferences. The operator must confirm which privacy laws and legal bases apply. Legitimate interests in operating a secure website and responding to inquiries is a proposed basis for review, not a completed legal assessment. Optional analytics or marketing would require a separate review and any consent required by applicable law before activation.

Retention and international processing

Tool inputs and the transcript are not deliberately stored beyond the current page session. The suggestion timestamp normally lasts for this tab’s session; browser session restoration can extend it. Offline caches have no fixed expiry and remain until replaced by an activated service-worker version, cleared by you or removed by your browser.

Hosting-record retention depends on the provider’s settings and record type; no fixed deletion period is promised here. Email should be kept only while needed to handle the inquiry and any applicable legal obligations. Exact hosting and mailbox periods remain operator review items.

Vercel and email providers may process information in countries other than yours. Provider entities, regions and any required transfer safeguards must be confirmed by the operator before launch. No claim that all processing stays in a particular country is made.

Your rights and concerns

Depending on the law that applies, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Rights can have conditions and exceptions. Contact hello@analaug.com to explain what you need.

You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority that applies to your location. The operator’s jurisdiction and appropriate authority are still to be confirmed; this notice does not appoint an arbitrary regulator.

Changes to this policy

The revision date above changes when this notice is substantively revised. Changes to collection, providers or optional technologies will need a fresh review and updated information before activation.
